Shigeo Morishita (森下 茂男 Morishita Shigeo), a.k.a. Morishita Sensei (森下先生) or Mr. Morishita, is a character in Hikaru no Go. He is a man who became a professional Go player at the same time that Toya Meijin became a professional. Morishita is Waya's go teacher when Waya first appears. Morishita also mentored Michio Shirakawa (7-dan), the community Go leader. Also known as Morishita Sensei or Mr. Morishita. Waya's go teacher and leader of the study group which Hikaru also frequents on Waya's invitation.
